I studied genetics and nutrition at WSU, behavior modification through UC Davis.

During my time at WSU I started formulating special needs diets for cancer dogs. 

Soon dog clients and friends wanted me to make fresh whole diets for their dogs, diets nutritionally complete that their dogs would beg for day after day.

The food went into stores and to market two years ago, and is being discovered by more people for their special canine(s) daily.

Since our recent marriage in Sept. of 04 my Husband John is an active part of making 4 Health Dog Food, and works beside me daily.

 My Love of dogs and caring for them started as a child, as an adult I spent 26 years working with dogs.

My formal education in canines began 1980 under the care and tutelage of a master groomer. Through continuing education and seminars I have kept myself up to date on current and changing beliefs, and proven research within the pet food industry and Nutritional aspects specifically.

I raised, trained and have been showing dogs for 28 years, 19 of those with my Belgian Tervurens.

I have been active in the American Belgian Tervuren Club for 18 years and have been on the Health Education Committee since its inception 7 years ago. 

I achieved numerous AKC and CKC Obedience and Conformation Titles with a variety of breeds.

I served 10 years as a veterinary technician, specializing in emergency care, wound management, small animal anesthesia and radiology.
